Evergreen Transitions focuses on:
🛡️ Accurate pricing
🛡️ Practice & market positioning
🛡️ Buyer demand
Our process allows practices move forward, not sit on the market. The length of time a medical practice remains on the market is not random. Buyer demand, pricing discipline, and financing constraints all play a role in whether a practice progresses to contract.
Evergreen evaluates these factors early in the process so sellers understand how their practice fits within the current market and what is required for a
transaction to move forward.
The Evergreen Group of physician practice transition specialists provides valuation, transition, and practice sale advisory services exclusively for physician-owned and healthcare practices.
Our approach is guided by one principle: Experience matters most at the point of transition.
Selling, acquiring, or valuing a medical practice is not a commodity transaction — it requires specialized insight, market awareness, and a structured process that preserves both financial value and professional legacy.
Evergreen Transitions is built around a network of seasoned advisors, each with deep experience in healthcare valuation and mergers & acquisitions. Collectively, our team brings over 90 years of combined experience, advising independent practices across a range of specialties and market conditions nationwide.
A Disciplined, Transaction-Focused Process - Built to Close, Not Just List
We focus on the factors that truly influence practice transitions. These include a practice's:
By helping practices understand these elements, Evergreen equips physicians to make confident, informed decisions — whether they plan to sell now, later, or simply want clarity on their options.
From initial valuation through transition planning and sale execution, Evergreen provides structured guidance, confidentiality, and expert insight at every stage. Our goal is to make the process clear, controlled, and aligned with each physician’s objectives.

💡 Is my practice truly sellable? Many practices look profitable but are not ready for a smooth transition. Evergreen can help you evaluate readiness objectively.
💡 What does marketability mean? Marketability is how attractive your practice is to buyers — operational stability, staffing, and financial clarity all matter.
💡 Am I transaction-ready?
Being ready for sale goes beyond numbers; it includes documentation, processes, and clear goals. Most physicians don’t realize gaps until they assess with experts.
💡 Do I know my buyer appeal? Buyer appeal isn’t just revenue. Evergreen helps identify what buyers value most in your specialty and region.
💡 Am I making the most of my practice’s value? Without strategic planning, you may leave money on the table. A structured approach ensures your practice reaches its full potential.
The Evergreen Group offers a full range of services, including medical practice valuation, transition planning, and sales advisory. We provide the guidance and support necessary to ensure a professional and successful medical practice transition from start to finish.
EGT specializes in solo, independently owned medical practices, including specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, and PM&R.
The Evergreen Group’s sales process begins with a medical practice valuation. We are a fee-based firm and do not charge a commission. For a solo practice with a single location, the initial valuation typically costs $1,500, followed by a $3,500 fee for the sale of the practice. The services required to transition out of a medical practice can be explained in a live consultation and vary depending on the individual needs of each seller.
The Evergreen Group recommends that clients plan for a 6- to 12-month timeline from start to finish. While some medical practices sell within six months, others may take longer. Factors such as buyer demand, financing, and other circumstances can impact the time it takes to complete a sale.
